Michael, aged 28, is a self-taught exciting emerging artist who works with steel, stone copper and wood. He challenges many common sculpture techniques by using simple materials with an unusual free flowing form. His work focuses on the botanical form, with a love for kinetic, stone and figurative steel sculptures.
Coming from country NSW Michael travelled throughout the world for 7 years, taking inspiration from numerous cultures, architecture, art shows, exhibitions, and sculpture methods. In the recent years, he has dedicated himself to the sculptural art world with recent success in private and public exhibitions throughout NSW.
He lives in Mudgee with wife and muse, Emma, and 1 year old son, Oak.
When not creating beautiful sculptures, Michael also runs a campervan conversion business with Emma, where he incorporates his beautiful craftsmanship and flair in the vans they convert!
